Hello, I’m Olga, and I’m the founder of Anam Sona Yoga.
Yoga has been a part of my life for over 25 years — a steady thread I’ve returned to again and again. It’s helped me find calm in busy seasons, reconnect with myself, and create space to breathe when life feels overwhelming.
Like many people, my practice has come and gone in different phases. But when I became a mother, I realised I needed more than the occasional class. I was working full time, caring for my family, trying to maintain friendships, and feeling the pressure to do it all. I was giving so much — but not giving myself enough.

That’s when I truly committed to this path. I began my yoga teacher training not to teach others right away, but to carve out time for myself — to refill my own cup. Over time, that practice deepened and grew into a way of supporting others.

Why “Anam Sona”?
In Irish, “anam” means soul and “sona” means happy or peaceful.
Anam Sona is about returning to your inner calm. A place where your soul can feel steady, even if life outside is moving fast.
My work is grounded in the belief that we are not made to go full speed, all the time. We need places to pause, to feel, and to reconnect — with ourselves and with one another.
Looking after yourself is not selfish — it’s vital.
Whether through yoga, Reiki, or a 1:1 session, my aim is to offer space for people to rest, move, breathe, and feel.
When you take time for yourself, you reconnect with your strength, your softness, your centre. From that place, it becomes easier to support others, to make clearer choices, and to move through life with more ease.
The space I hold is built on trust, care, and authenticity. When you come to work with me, these are the qualities I bring:
Accepting + Compassionate – everyone is welcome, just as they are
Grounding + Reassuring – I offer a steady, calm presence; no pressure and no performance
Caring + Kind – warmth is at the heart of my work
Strong + Loyal – I show up fully and consistently
Honest – I speak truth with compassion
Informative – I offer clear guidance and simple practices you can return to throughout your day
Whether it’s your first class or your hundredth, you are met with care and respect.
I live in Dublin with my husband, our son, and our golden retriever Rosie.
Alongside teaching yoga and offering Reiki, I also work in the public sector — so I understand first-hand the juggle of busy schedules, family life, and the need for space to reset.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll likely find me outdoors — walking or hiking with friends and family (Rosie often leading the way!).
I also love live music — from concerts and festivals to spontaneous singalongs in the car. And I’m a big fan of good food shared in good company.
